Is the Ohio State football program crumbling? Is it a case of Twitter gone wild?
Detroit Cass Tech’s Mike Weber committed to Ohio State on Feb. 4, 2015.
Is it, like most things in life, somewhere in the middle?
Just a day after OSU running back Ezekiel Elliott made headlines by criticizing his team’s play calling in an upset loss to Michigan State, his backup sent a cryptic tweet at 12:57 a.m. this morning.
Mike Weber, the former Detroit Cass Tech star who was the subject of a highly publicized recruiting battle between Ohio State and Michigan earlier this year, wrote: “Boy if I could do it all again.”
No context, of course, but given Elliott’s comments and that Weber hasn’t played this season and that OSU is facing U-M this week (and U-M is favored), not to mention the post-Signing Day drama from February, it isn’t hard to jump to conclusions that Weber might not be happy in Columbus.
Weber apparently is redshirting after dealing with some leg issues early in the season.

Coach: Mike Weber would be at U-M if Hoke weren’t fired
