Coldwater will have to wait another day to try and earn its ticket to Ford Field and a possible spot in the MHSAA state football finals.
The MHSAA Division 3 state semifinal football playoff game on Saturday at Jackson’s Withington Stadium was postponed due to weather.

A Coldwater fan braves the heavy snowfall to drive to Jackson only to find out the game was snowed out Saturday afternoon.
The game has been rescheduled for Sunday as Coldwater (12-0) will face Chelsea (11-1) in the state semifinal game at 2 p.m. at the same site in Jackson.
For Coldwater, the decision was frustrating as the team was halfway to Jackson when the decision was made to reschedule the contest.

“We’re not happy,” Coldwater football coach Jeff Schorfhaar said. “Every other playoff game today is being played, but we aren’t. We were ready to play today.”
Coldwater is in the state semifinals for the first time in school history.
If Coldwater wins it will play in the Division 3 state finals at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 28.
